one thing i appreciate is honesty and transparency of our thoughts. especially between close friendships, especially between people who do things together at close proximity, i guess. i think one thing i find difficult, apart from the insensitive comments made, is the fact that you seem to be hiding lots from me. when i suggest an idea, or when you ask me about something i give a reply, there's often a long pause or hesitation, followed by either a trail of nothing or some avoidance comment. conclusion: none. i think thats something important for friends who want to travel together too, you need to be upfront about what you want or dont want, unless you truly dont mind, dont pretend its okay when its not, only to mention it at the last minute. even if you're unsure, there's no harm just voicing the factors that you are considering, i think to me, its just very important that you're truthful, and you stick to your word. if you dont, just say you've changed your mind, dont pretend that that was what you always meant in the first place. its hard when someone isnt being truthful and honest.
anyway, horse riding today! on the first day of june (: have i ever told you that i love june? june is one of my favourite months in the year (: i really enjoyed the horse riding, it was quite scary at some points cos i felt like i was gonna fall off! but i didnt, it was quiet and tranquil .. and peaceful, going through the rainforest and through the creeks. i loved the creek best! on rocks below pretty clear waters surrounded with thick rainforest in a nice green, pity i couldnt take pictures there as we were riding. and i also liked the meadows with all the taller grass. the horses kept wanting to eat grass and we had to keep pulling them away from it! they also pee-ed and poo-ed many times along the way. i would go horse riding again if i have the opportunity, especially with a special someone (: and i would also like to try horse riding along the beach! through the ride, i was thinking of how horses/donkeys used to be the main mode of transport in the past. it made me feel like i went back in time! also, the couple i was with were older and really appreciated the countryside. and they were talking about how australia is becoming a lot less country with a lot more houses compared to the past, and i was just thinking how singapore is so different to all this! its nice being in the country being away from the hustle and bustle, although i enjoy city life too. :/ all in all, it was a great quiet morning with the horses! my horse was called "king" btw. it also allowed me to sort out my thoughts a bit and to remind myself to really trust God no matter what. job hunting is certainly no easy journey to go through, but we will get there(:
